Get hands-on with life on a working Dutch farm as you help with daily activities such as milking the cows and caring for the animals. Depending on the season, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our cows, sheep and horses while learning more about the rhythms of farm life and the traditions that have shaped this landscape for generations.
Beyond the farmyard, Arkelshoef is perfectly positioned to explore the surrounding countryside. Discover scenic walking and cycling routes through meadows and waterways, or keep an eye on the skies for local wildlife. Bird enthusiasts may spot several species of owls, as well as the iconic Black-tailed Godwit – the national bird of the Netherlands and a familiar sight in the region’s wetlands.
